FIREFIGHTER RECRUITMENT 2008

The modern fire fighter is proactive in; community safety, delivering education, and undertaking preventative activities within the communities we serve. The modern fire fighter deals with fires in all types of premises and attends a variety of specialist incidents. These can include, Road Traffic Collisions, Chemical Emergencies, Urban Search and Rescue and other natural disasters.

Formal qualifications are not essential but you will be required to demonstrate and maintain a good level of fitness. If accepted you will need to successfully complete a 13 week residential training course. For an application pack please come along to our open day.
